This uniquely designed project implemented several elements internally & externally to offset the native surrounds of the local natural reserve opposite the home.
The facade is the statement of the home nestled in the heart of Golden Square, Bendigo comprising rustic, earthy & industrial materials. With a mixture of locally hand made & pressed vintage red bricks from around the 1950’s recovered from the demolition of the original dwelling, Cemintel Barestone cladding, concrete retaining & paths, corrugated zincalume cladding complimented with monument roofing, windows, garage & native landscaping – culminating in a low maintenance home & yard.
Internally the home’s entrance is warmed with a stunning timber pivot door, featured recycled brick wall & matte black finishes which is consistently reflected throughout the home, flowing into the lounge/dining/kitchen/alfresco & study nook area. The open plan is inspired by modern living & we have created space with height, highlighting the smaller, finer details & added those inviting lighting finishes. Heart of the Home is very much desired here!
A comfortable Master Suite with a tranquil views of the natural surrounds, sets the mood for serenity and privacy. Included is a walk-in robe, ensuite with walk in shower, double basins & once again features & finishes speak for themselves.
Two further bedrooms with ample space & storage set at the rear for privacy. European laundry & linen – sleek & hidden.
Adding a touch of luxury & statement to the Main Bathroom is the free-standing bath, cabinetry finishes, & frameless shower screen.
Finishing off with a large double garage with internal access allowing that free-flowing feeling through the home.
Our extensive knowledge of the building industry & design enabled us to maximise the potential of the block and create a functional home that takes full advantage of the land’s natural features.
